Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration and Planned Giving Legal Services for Seniors and assisted in the development of their “Will Referral Program” 1985-1996 – Bohnen, Rosenthal and Call of Monterey, Abramson, Church & Stave of Salinas, Anne McGowan of Carmel and William H. Soskin, of Monterey. 1996 established a private practice as a sole practitioner, focusing in areas of estate planning and estate administration. Taught income taxation and estate planning at Monterey College of Law and at Golden Gate University, Monterey campus, in the Masters program Lecturer for CEB’s (Continuing Education for the Bar) Annual Estate Planning Update Course (1996-2002) Frequent community guest speaker, including regular participation in the Monterey Community Hospital Widows Program and Pacific Grove Adult School - Parent’s Program. 1981 - Antioch College, Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration 1980 – City of Monterey Park’s Department; assistant manager Dream Theater; intern at Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG). 1981 – 1983 Monterey’s Meals on Wheels Program. Graduated from Monterey College of Law in 1985; with J.D. degree Passed California State Bar in 1985 and licensed to practice in the State of California August 1991 graduated, from Golden Gate University with a Masters of Law in Taxation (L.L.M.) 1993 Qualified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the California Board of Specialization of the State Bar of California Founding Board member of the Monterey County Alzheimer’s Chapter and the Monterey County Youth Museum. Also served on the following Boards of Directors: Meals on Wheels, Barristers, Monterey County Junior League and Congregation Beth Israel. Currently serving as President of Monterey County Youth Museum (MY Museum). |
