Membership in MontereyTrust.com is open to practicing attorneys, CPAs, Private and Corporate Fiduciaries, and Planned Giving Professionals. The site serves the California counties of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito.

The “Public” side of this site provides a Directory of estate planning, trust, tax and planned giving professionals. Topical information pertaining to estate planning, trust, tax and planned giving is provided and articles of interest are contributed by Members or by invited guest authors.

Local agencies including the Sheriffs Offices, Adult Protective Services, and senior legal services provide alerts on scams we are seeing in our community and provide direction and suggestions on how to protect our residents.

Members are given exclusive access to the Members Only portal and can participate in the “Discussion Forum” with other Members, view the annual Continuing Education Calendar, read “Practice Notes” submitted by other Members, access “A View From the Bench” - notes from our Superior Court Judges’ bench, and read book reviews and summaries of publications relevant to the estate planning profession.
