Technology that Helps Keep our Seniors Safe
As our clients age many of them succumb to Alzheimers. According to the American Alzheimer’s Foundation between 2.3 and 4.5 million Americans are currently affected by Alzheimer’s and this number is likely to triple by mid-century. Keeping people safe while allowing maximum independence and autonomy is the goal of most advisors. This discussion will present three technologies that can be used to keep our clients safe at home.

Presenters:

John O’Brien
, CEO, Central Coast Senior Services will discuss QuietCare – an in-home motion sensor technology that learns the daily living patterns of a senior and sends alerts when out of the ordinary events occur.

Rosemary Tarp, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Lifeline Member Services Liaison will present the Lifeline choice.

Frank Duenas, Monterey County Sheriffs Office Project Lifesaver will discuss the Project Lifesaver bracelet that provides mobile tracking in case a confused senior wanders away and gets lost.

Note: Because this presentation is more informational than technical, no MCLE is offered.
